Pulling Power

From my perspective it comes down to meeting two important expectations. The first being resiliency. We are able to increase the speed of doing business and cope with changes in the marketplace. We are able to be confident in our abilities to meet both the expected and unanticipated growth and supply our customers with quality product in time frames that surpass their expectations. Senior management is able to strategically plan for future and be confident that Supply Chain can deliver. The second being fiscal responsibility – Costs can be controlled when supply chains are performing well and communicating properly. Labor costs, processes and inventory control can all be maintained and controlled. It reduces managements need to be reactive to unplanned overtime and increased inventories caused by inconsistent supply.
Corrinne Masto, Vice President, Manufacturing and Quality Widex US

Widex works with customers across the world and many of them measure their suppliers like Widex on well-defined performance metrics such as delivery quality and compliance with delivery times. The strengthened Supply Chain within Widex has allowed us to compete for big contracts and expand our portfolio with international key accounts which has become particularly important in times where customers consolidate and reduce the number of suppliers.
Christian Husegaard, Regional Vice President, Global Sales

The supply chain performance is crucial to ensure top performance for any company – it allows the right products at the right time. In Widex the significantly improved Supply Chain process across the world has ensured and secured our ability to reduce inventory globally, re-act faster on market changes and needs and thereby ensured high customer satisfaction and loyalty. Furthermore it has saved cost globally by reduced operations time locally and reduced write offs and inventory cost.
